Guide
Weekend trips to the mountains are always rejuvenating, especially if you live in a noisy, filthy metropolis! The Triund trek is one of Himachal Pradesh's easiest and most beautiful treks. The journey begins in McLeod Ganj, near Dharamshala, where the Dalai Lama is said to have remained in exile after fleeing Tibet for India. You'll be attracted to see the luxurious monasteries, prayer flags and wheels, and therefore the lamas, as the place depicts the vibrant and distinct Tibetan culture. Mun, Rifle Horn, Arthur's Seat, and Slab are just a few of the Dhauladhar Ranges that you can see from here.
Triund is accessible throughout the year, and when blanketed in snow, it becomes a winter paradise. Summer is all about the lush meadows. Return by the trail that follows the upper stages of the Bhagsu waterfalls. Hiking down to the rushing waves will add to the excitement of your journey.
